Detailed description
For instance when building a library using some package with syntax extension ( lwt.syntax ), I do not to have lwt.syntax to be in the requirements of my library.

I think you need a way to do the reverse: be able to handle syntax extension.

But in your case, you can have a look at XMETARequires that allow you to override the guess made on the library.
