Detailed description
I personally like it more from the client side point of view... Do you plan to deploy it?
The benefits I think of :
no need for external programs (mostly important on windows),
usage of svn auth cache (no need to enter password every now and then)

You mean that we should use WebDAV?

I am not against it, but this mean that we will go into password authentification, which requires to link password from gforge, to WebDAV passwd et al.

Technically, this is possible, but it is not integrated at all in GForge (AFAIK).

To be clear, it could be interesting if it doesn't require too much work.

We will check.
