Public project not visible when not connected

Detailed description
Hello,

Yesterday, I changed the visibility of project odb-server (https://forge.ocamlcore.org/projects/odb-serv/) from Hidden to Public. But today, I can't access the project until I connect.

Is there something to change in my project configuration ?

Regards,

Maxence

It's ok now. You can close this item.

I think this should be ok now.

Basically you have to go through all users permission and set it to a sane default.

For still 10 minutes, we are still on monday :-) So ping!
Sorry to have forgotten and it is not that urgent.

Thank in advance anyway.

Ping me on monday, I doubt I'll have time in the WE to fix this and right now I am at work.

I'm sorry but I've got exactly the same problem with lablGtkOSXApplication.

"I try to change the permissions of this "anonymous" role (or any global role), I get a red banner "Permission refusée" even though I have the Admin role."

I've made the same mistake of "starting my project from an "empty" template"

Is there a way to fix it myself ?
Sorry, Pierre B

Indeed, I may have started with an empty template (did not really known what it was).
It's ok now.
Thanks !

Maybe you started your project from an "empty" template. This is sometimes the cause of many problems.

I have fixed the permission myself on your project. Check if it is ok.

Ok, but when I try to change the permissions of this "anonymous" role, I get a red banner "Permission refusée" even though I have the Admin role.
Any idea ?

Hello,

There are a few users/permissions to update as well. E.g edit permission of user "anonymous/not logged in" to allow it to see your project (as of writing this message, the "Project visibility" is set to hidden for "anonymous/not logged in".

The general "project visibility" action is an old piece of code that works more or less. You should use ACL now.

Cheers
Sylvain
